The readers of the GR7 series expand the modern GANTNER look & feel and impress with their innovative, elegant design and easy operation. Installed close to entrances and exits, the readers grant access as soon as the user’s identification has been checked using his contactless ID, fingerprint, or PIN code.

Proven, intuitive user guidance

With all the design innovations, the proven and coherent user guidance has been retained, which enables intuitive operation. A multi-colored, backlit reading center, a clear LED display and acoustic signaling play their part. To meet all the requirements of modern architecture, the GR7 series comes in three different product sizes and different installation variants – the right solution for every building project. It is also suitable for outdoor installations thanks to the impressive IP67 protection class, the aesthetic GR7 readers are not only inside the right choice for buildings.

Alternatively with biometric verification and PIN

The GR7 readers provide additional security in combination with fingerprint identification or the requirement for a PIN code. This can be queried depending on the time and person. Arming and disarming an alarm system can also be controlled using a PIN.

Cost savings and easy commissioning

The tried and tested GANTNER “Plug & Play PLUS” function excites, because commissioning, installation, and assembly have never been easier – not least because the readers are connected via conventional, structured building cabling. This means an enormous cost reduction, even before the system is even in use.
The multi-technology readers read and write the most widespread RFID technologies (LEGIC and MIFARE). They can also read the unique numbers of many other ID card technologies and RFID standards (e. g. ISO 14443 A and B, ISO 15693, NFC and HID iClass).
