No forgotten credentials, no lost keys – the LockPal app turns the personal smartphone of employees or customers into individual data carriers for a centrally-powered smart locker system. All that is required is to download the LockPal app from the App Store or Google Play Store and complete a simple registration process. Authorization is assigned using the locker management software. Afterward, users can open or close a freely available or personal locker using their smartphone. LockPal is a “do-it-yourself” solution for customers and employees, requiring no additional administration or personnel effort. Integration into a customer-specific app such as a workplace app is also possible.
