SALTO Group acquires Michel Consulting

SALTO SYSTEMS, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of first-class access control solutions, has entered into an agreement to acquire MICHEL CONSULTING, a leading company in the digitalization of corporate processes in particular those linked to the Leisure industry. The parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the transaction.

Headquartered in Spain, with more than 1700 employees in over 40 different countries, SALTO is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of world-class access control solutions. SALTO revolutionized access control by introducing the SALTO Virtual Network SVN data-on-card technology and battery-operated wireless electronic smart door lock range in 2001. Ever since, SALTO has been synonymous with innovative solutions, including stand-alone, cloud-based, and mobile applications, that set new standards in security, manageability, flexibility, and design. In 2020, SALTO SYSTEMS acquired GANTNER ELECTRONIC, a leading provider of solutions for membership and visitor management, cashless payments, time recording, electronic access and locker solutions, and ticketing systems.

Its customers include organizations in many segments: Fitness clubs and medical fitness facilities, Water parks, spas, museums and other cultural facilities, ski storage, golf courses, and amusement parks. They provide smart employee lockers for flexible workspaces, access control solutions for industrial companies, healthcare institutions, and public facilities, as well as cashless payment systems for company cafeterias.

GANTNER is now expanding its product portfolio in the leisure sector with the solutions from MICHEL CONSULTING.
